PS-HyTech GmbH, one of the initiators of HYFLY, has founded a joint company with the solar park operator Anumar GmbH. In order to use the potential of generating “Green Hydrogen” from sustainably generated energy technically and economically, the two companies have agreed to work closely together.
Anumar plans, builds and operates solar power plants in Germany and Chile. The company’s own portfolio of photovoltaic systems has been growing since it was founded in 2010; This also includes the largest solar power plant in Bavaria (Schornhof solar park). With Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Anumar supplies electricity to energy suppliers and companies. Together with the engineering team from PS-HyTech GmbH, systems for the generation, storage and conversion of hydrogen are created. In addition to drive systems for road, rail, watercraft and aircraft, storage systems are the most important building block in the overall concept.
The aim of the cooperation is, among other things, to supply airfields, airfields and airport infrastructures with green hydrogen in the future, which is obtained locally or regionally and which is used to generate electricity / heat in buildings and to refuel microlight, small aircraft and commercial aircraft. Furthermore, hydrogen-based electricity storage systems should help to efficiently store solar and wind energy.
